Premium Heating Oil Additive
This multi-component product guards against fuel degradation, the corrosion of metal storage tanks and associated pipework, the adverse effects of fuel interaction with copper containing fittings and pipework and serves to inhibit the build of deposits in storage tanks.
Features
- Lowers carbon emissions
- Stabilises fuel – increases its shelf life
- Inhibits sludge formation
- Reduces deposit build up around nozzles and on heat exchanger surfaces
- Reduces service problems
- Improves system efficiency
- Has a fresh fuel fragrance (fragranced version)
When To Use
- Fuel is stored for longer than 4 months
- Fuel filters plug
- Burner jets foul quickly
- Excessive soot deposits in the heat exchange chamber
- There is a desire to optimise fuel combustion and efficiency
- When the environment is 'fuel smell' sensitive (fragranced version)
Treatment Ratio
200ml treats 1,000 litres of heating oil.
Cooker Additive
Although the Char Value of domestic kerosene has an upper limit of 20mg/kg, field experience since 2008 indicates that for numerous reasons fuel is being supplied with Char Values in the range 16-30mg/kg.
The situation is not improving and is having a serious negative impact on the performance of range cookers (e.g. AGAs, Rayburns, Esses, etc), where carbon build up around the burner is now commonplace. This results in variable heat output and poor controllability. Exocet Cooker Additive acts to control the Char Value of the fuel, improving its combustion performance and maintaining a clean burner for longer.
Features
- Controls Char value
- Reduces build-up of carbon deposits and soot
- Inhibits growth of deposits in fuel storage tanks
- Minimises the potential for fuel tank corrosion
- Preserves fuel in storage - Increases the fuel shelf life
- Reduces service problems
- Maintains fuel flow
- Endorsed by Esse
When To Use
- Operating a range cooker (AGA) on kerosene
- Fuel storage tank has a low turnover
- Burner continually ‘cokes’ up and/or fuel pipe blocks
Treatment Ratio
200ml treats 1,000 litres of heating oil.
Diesel Supreme
Diesel Supreme can be added either to bulk storage or directly into the vehicle tank. It should be used where consistent and optimal power delivery is required; fuel economy needs to be optimised; diesel knock and engine noise minimised; and emissions reduction is sought.
Benefits
- Less expensive than HVO and GTL but still gives spectacular reduction in emissions.
- Reduced carbon monoxide 35%
- Reduced hydrocarbon by 75%
- Reduced carbon dioxide 3.5%
- Added benefit of up to 4% fuel saving
When To Use
- Consistent and optimal power delivery is required
- Emissions reduction is required
- Fuel economy needs to be optimised
- Protection against potential problems of high biodiesel content is required
Treatment Ratio
1 litre treats 2,000 litres of diesel.
Gas Oil Supreme
Gas Oil Supreme prevents deposit formation throughout the fuel delivery system, especially in the injectors and fuel pump, to keep the system clean and running at optimum performance. It also compensates for some of the deleterious effects of a higher FAME content (e.g. tendency for water pickup) and will prevent the agglomeration of biodiesel precipitates that can be the cause of filter blocking and fuel starvation.
When To Use
- Vehicle lacks power, misfires or ‘runs rough’
- Protection against biodiesel precipitates is required
- Engine manufacturer recommends the use of an additive
- Excessive smoke is observed
- With each fuel delivery
Treatment Ratio
1 litre of additive treats 2,000 litres of fuel
Anti Bug Additive
FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY
The first sign of microbiological contamination (the 'diesel bug') is often continuous blocking of filters with a slimy substance, which can range in colour from black to light brown. Anti Bug is used to tackle current and immediate microbiological infestation at a "Kill" dose. Anti Bug can be used to inhibit microbiological activity in clean tanks at a "Protect" dose. The additive can be used in bulk fuel storage or added directly into a vehicle or machine fuel tank.
Features
- Boosts the fuel’s resistance to waxing
- Allows operation at colder temperatures than fuel specification
- Inhibits the formation of wax crystals
- Reduces the potential for filter plugging
- Works with maximum allowable FAME contents
When To Use
- Worried about the 'diesel bug'
- Fuel contains increasing quantities of bio-content
- Sludge blocks fuel lines and filters
- 'Protect' dose prevents bug growth
Treatment Ratio
- Anti Bug "Kill" Dose: 200ml treats 1,000L
- Anti Bug "Protect" Dose: 200ml treats 4,000L
Anti Wax Additive
Anti Wax is formulated to improve the cold flow and handling properties of diesel and gas oil. Anti Wax is typically added at the rate of 1 litre of additive to 1,000 litres of fuel. The additive must be used as a preventative measure and will not work if the fuel is already waxed. Fuel-specific tests need to be carried out if a minimum operability temperature is required.
Features
- Boosts the fuel’s resistance to waxing
- Allows operation at colder temperatures than fuel specification
- Inhibits the formation of wax crystals
- Reduces the potential for filter plugging
- Works with maximum allowable FAME contents
When To Use
- As a prevention to fuel freezing and 'waxing out'
- Forecast is for temperatures of <-5°C
- At the transition between summer grade fuel and winter grade fuel to ensure full protection.
- When winter grade fuel is required all year round.
Treatment Ratio
1 litre of additive treats 1,000 litres of fuel.
