Transmission And Hydraulic Fluid
This data sheet is based on The Elf product TractorElf BF80.
DESCRIPTION
A transmission and hydraulic oil for tractors and contractors plant.
APPLICATIONS
- Transmissions and final drives including those with "wet" brakes of most tractors and contractors plant.
- Hydraulic and power steering systems.
- Torque converters requiring Allison C3 and C4 fluids.
- Caterpillar equipment requiring TO-2 fluids
NOTE: Whilst all reasonable care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of this data at time of publication minor variations may occur.
PROPERTIES
- Wide operating temperature range.
- Excellent wear resistance for gears and pumps.
- High water tolerance for humid atmospheres.
- Prevents "squawk" from oil immersed brakes.
- Provides sufficient friction to operate P.T.O.'s.
- Good foam resistance.
ADVANTAGES
- Single oil with which to service nearly every tractor transmission and hydraulic system.
- Provides an extremely effective alternative to "Universal" oil when a separate engine oil is preferred.
