Super Tractor Oil Universal (STOU)
STOU is a multipurpose tractor oil suitable for naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel engines fitted in tractors and contractors plant, transmissions including those incorporating "wet" brakes, hydraulic and hydrostatic systems.
Powerful detergent/dispersant properties offer excellent oxidation and thermal stability, whilst extreme pressure additives protect highly loaded gears and friction modifiers prevent "squawk" from oil immersed brakes. Excellent grip is provided for PTO clutches.
STOU allows most tractors and contractors plant to operate on a single grade of oil for the engine, transmission and hydraulics, thus permitting grade rationalisation and preventing the misuse of separate grades, and its use can be extended to other vehicles where the API/CCMC specification is appropriate.
NOTE: Whilst all reasonable care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of this data at time of publication minor variations may occur.
Please note: This datasheet is based on the Elf product "TractorElf" and is typical of the generic STOU lubricant produced by a number of manufacturers. For most new tractors Elf recommend the use of TractorElf 2000, a grade meeting the latest specifications and offering maximum protection.
