The Oil Signalman is a small BABT approved device simply plugged into an oil consumer's direct dial telephone point along with the existing telephone or fax equipment. During calls made to a Tank Signal System PC at an Oil Company, the Oil Signalman is directed to collect the radio transmissions made by a tank transmitter fitted, together with a probe, to the consumer's oil storage tank. The tank transmitter and probe are the same as employed by the Oil Watchman which are designed for easy installation onto any of the Titan Tanks range of oil tanks. The radio transmissions contain various information including the current level of oil in the tank. The information collected is sorted by the Tank Signal System software and presented to the operator in a variety of screen enquiry functions and printed reports suited to specific applications. When the Oil Company have sight of the consumer's ongoing stock levels, this delivers numerous significant benefits to the Oil Company and Customer alike. The Tank Signal System provides the ability to greatly improve Customer Service whilst at the same time achieving a dramatic improvement in Delivery Routing Efficiency. The Oil Signalman is used in conjunction with the Tank Signal System allowing the Oil Consumer to have their tank monitored remotely so avoiding the need to check their tank and order oil. The calls made by the Oil Signalman normally only last for 20 seconds or so at a time. They can be set to occur in the early hours or within another selected time range so as not to interfere with normal use of the line. The Oil Signalman will not try to make a call when you are already using your line. Location |
