This data sheet is based on The Elf product "Tecnic Super 15W/40".
Description
Fully inhibited, quality hydraulic oils available in the more common ISO Grades 32, 46 and 68.
Qualities

Advantages
- High viscosity index ensures low temperature fluidity.
- Resistance to oxidation protects pump components and valve mechanisms from harmful lacquer deposits.
- Anti-rust and anti-corrosion additives protect the system when at rest.
- Good air release and anti-foaming additives ensure rapid collapse of foam likely to be formed in reservoirs.
- Good demulsification ensures separation of any entrained water droplets.
TECNIC SUPER 15W/40
This is a high quality mixed fleet engine oil. It is suitable for use in turbocharged and naturally aspirated engines, both petrol and diesel, and offers extended drain potential.
It is also suitable for Caterpillar equipment where 15W/40 or TO-2 oils are specified.
